Sometimes I wonder..

I have been nannying for the same family for 4 summers/years now going on my 5th. I love the kids, really I do. Like any child, they can sometimes be a handful, but for the most part they're really great. Over the years, we've gone to the park, the movies, the beach, the aquatic center, the library, on numerous bike rides, cooked, & played various games. I get paid pretty well working 5 days a week @ 50 hours total with a week's paid vacation. Sometimes though, I wonder what it would be like to have a different job over the summer...or nanny for a different family.

This wonder was stired again today when I received a phone call (I have yet to call her back) from someone saying that she somehow got my name from her friend's nanny. She was wondering if I could nanny her 3 children for 4 days a week @ 40 hours total. I'm afraid to call her back because I'm afraid that she'd offer more $$ a week than I currently make. It would stink to have to give the job up to someone else, but truthfully- I already committed to nannying for the family I do now.

I guess with that being said... does anyone need a job for the summer still?
