Charlevoix. What a beautiful town. It's right off the water and is just adorable if you ask me. My first time visiting was with Jacob, his family, and his best friend. He has a house right off Lake Charlevoix. The house has a SAUNA- need I say more?? :) We spent a relaxing fourth of July weekend at this location. Downside, I got fried the day that we rented a Pontoon on the lake. Note to self: ALWAYS wear sunscreen- unless you decide you like the Michael Jackson skin look.
This past weekend was Jacob's sister's wedding. Gorgeous. I suddenly LOVE weddings. Or maybe not so suddenly because I've always enjoyed them. Laura's wedding was at St.John's in Plymouth, MI. That place is a wedding ZOO! There were three weddings
there just on Saturday-one right after another! Craziness! None the less, the cathedral
was beautiful along with the banquet area. That place has a bunch of gardens (perfect for pictures)
and even a golf course. If you're all about having a hotel after the wedding, this is the place to go because the hotel is attached. Perfection if you ask me. Great for
out-of-towners ;). The DJ was.... great in some aspects because he sang but had a little too much "jungle" music. Oh! I caught the bouquet!! Guess who's next in line to get married?!?!?!?
Last but not least, I must talk about today. Today I made a large purchase and bought myself a new MacBook! I don't know which I love more---my BlackBerry or my Mac!! LOL :) I'm still getting used to it but I can tell it will be a great relationship.
I am also very bummed that my whole family is in Europe except for me. UGH!
